Why CoA Bhaddal Institutes: The best Architecture Institute of Punjab & North India, which is in existence since 2004 has achieved Gold medals out of all PTU affiliated colleges from all batches passed out so far. Each year our students feature in top ten Merit positions in the PTU merit list. This speaks a lot about the Quality education. Also our students participate in the events held at NASA (National Association of Student Architects) Zonal Competitions particularly the Reubens trophy where recently out of 46 participating North zone colleges, students of CoA Bhaddal brought laurels. The Master of Architecture is a professional degree and is required to become a practising architect. It is the second of two degrees, undertaken after the successful completion of the Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent.
Graduates of our Master degree programs are well regarded and sought after by firms in the country, especially Chandigarh, one of the most environmentally progressive cities in the country as well as by offices nationwide. This course is an innovative and flexible professional degree. Through a non-sequential structure, which allows students to select from a range of core and elective subjects, it gives students choice regarding their professional specialisation that can best serve them in their future careers.
Architectural design subjects enhance a critical understanding of architecture as both a discipline with an existing body of knowledge and a set of practices that continuously challenge and add to that body of knowledge. Research is undertaken as a preliminary to design decision-making, during design and in reflection on design development. Architectural practice subjects prepare students for expanded practice in emerging media and markets, contemporary business practice and global economies and within challenging social, environmental, political and regulatory contexts. Students who complete a Master of Architecture and subsequent practical experience are eligible to become registered architects. Our alumni are known for their expertise in environmentally-responsive architecture, for their responsible approaches to urban and social issues, and for understanding and embracing the increasingly complex nature of architectural practice. The study course has been designed to allow incorporation of the final units required to fulfill the academic requirements required for professional accreditation and registration of graduates.
B. Arch awarded by any Univ. or equivalent, duly listed in the schedule of the Indian Architect Act 1972 making the person eligible for the registration as Architect under the Act, with minimum 50% marks at the Graduate level.
